Northview 47, Sullivan 6

Before their game a week ago, the Sullivan Golden Arrows lost 22 varsity players to a two game suspension for attending a party they should not have. Had the players not confessed and been found to have been lying, it is likely they would have been lost for the season. Tonight was the second game of that suspension and it really hit them hard as the host Northview Knights led 27-6 by halftime en route to their 47-6 win. After fumbling away their first play from scrimmage, the Knights responded with an 83-yard drive ending in a touchdown pass from Logan Whitman (6'2 175 '04) to Craig Greenwood (6'2 205 '04). The Knights led 13-0 after the talented Amos Wagner (5'11 170 '03) exploded two straight runs totaling 33 yards to start the second quarter. Wagner carried the ball four times for 65 yards and two touchdowns in the first half. Whitman completed six of nine passes for 158 yards and two touchdowns.
