Posted by Nick After being limited to just 19 yards on eight carries in the first half, Mooresville running back Cliff Gentry (5'11 145 '04) exploded for a 64-yard touchdown gallop on the first play from scrimmage in the second half and finished with an unofficial 133 yards on 21 carries. Quarterback Kyle Mossbrucker (5'9 160 '05) completed an unofficial 11-17 passes for 189 yards, including a few highlight reel completions to talented wideout J.R. Anton (5'9 150 '04). The best drive of the night started early in the fourth quarter, with Mooresville looking to put the game away while leading 18-9, and on a third down and fifteen yards to go Mossbrucker hit Anton in perfect stride just past the first-down marker. Later in the drive on a fourth down and three yards to go, Anton came up with a great grab along the right sideline at the five-yard line. The very next play called for Anton sprinting straight to the left corner of the end zone coming up with another great catch. Greenwood's Billy Edwards (6'1 202 '04) was impressive at times totaling an unofficial 71 yards on 14 carries.
