One of the most impressive 14U teams was the 8th grade team that was made up of exclusively Huntington North girls who lost to the eventual champion MBA select( who like most all the other teams were made up of all stars from a variety of schools) by 3pts after being up by as many as 7points. Their point guard Lauren Davenport, forward Breanne Miller, and center Beth Freiburger who must stand 6-3 all look like varsity players next year. Lauren Davenport is a very heady player who seems to be able to penetrate at will against whoever's guarding her. Breanne Miller is athletic enough to be a future all star. Beth Freiburger shows alot of skill for being so big and young.
