Hippy....I fully agree with your comments on Winston Silcott..... the problem seems to be that the Police do such a thorough job of making PC Blakelock's family believe that Silcott was his killer, that even when it's shown that a miscarriage has taken place, the Police and consequently PC Blakelock's family can't accept the truth..... and this is the case in so many situations.... Stephen Downing and others come to mind.... the Police can never accept they are wrong and cause further injustice by their stance. Silcott is fully entitled to compensation, even if he had killed a dozen others, any person wronged in this way deserves compensation and justice themselves..... the Police increasingly believe they are the law, but as many are seeing, corruption and abuse of power are becoming a serious problem.
