I am British by birth but in the last twenty years via immigration my place of residence is B.C Canada. I spent my working life in the UK also with much regret gave up my late teen years in the RAF fighting WW2. I visit the UK at least once per year to visit my son and my grandchildren. With the passing of each year I find Britain to be more depressing and the population to be more morose and aggessive. I am relieved when my stay comes to an end and I am able to return to Canada where the government is less intrusive, the population are still very caring and life in general is more tranquill.
