I just read some of your piece about Dungeness. I was interested to read that you consider nuclear energy to be too risky. I know a little about the area of Dungeness and wondered how you got there. Did you perhaps travel by a mode of transport that kills, with a high degree of social-acceptability ~3,000 people per year in the UK: i.e. by car? Nuclear power should be put into perspective and compared to the current fuel technologies of oil/gas and coal. Try looking up how many people die each year from coal mining, let alone from repiratory complaints. I'm not actually "pro nuclear", but it has a reputation that is based on fear of the atomic bomb, not nuclear-generated electricity. If cars, booze and fags were all invented today, they would never make it to market. Everything is relative.
