All blame pointed at Mr Hart,to me was wrong considering the facts , that in 1984 th crash at Polmont,was caused by a cow on the line . In both cases both train were using D.V.T. ,which are 40 tons liter than a locomotive and also with traction at the rear of the train ,would with no dought have in my view have cotributed to the terible disaster. i have had no responce from the media about my valid comment on this issue and feel that this infomation should be made public . thanks from peter perks ex railway employee.
