Posted by The Happy Hippy on December 8, 2006, 2:51 pm As a result I've turned on the registration option for this Message Boardand all posters will have to register before posting. This should be an automated process and doesn't require my approval to register, but should slow the spambot &%@$ers down. If it doesn't do the job, I'll turn on the more draconian registration options. Sorry for this inconvenience, but overall it should have a beneficial effect. If anyone was wondering what they should give for Christmas ... why not give the whole world something ? Make sure your friends, family and acquaintances have anti-virus and anti-spyware utilities installed and running. And, longer term, keep pressuring your respective governments to make spamming illegal. They have it in their power to do so and could stop almost all of it if they wished. Those who support spamming are as bad as the spammers themselves and governments, through inaction, are as much to blame for the spam which blights our lives as the spammers are.

Okay, I finally got fed up with the spamming @%$#'s who post nothing but links to their perverse and useless wares on message boards and generally make life miserable for everyone else on the internet.
