I live in Huntingdon, Cambs and I travel sometimes to Orpington via M11 and M25. Yesterday evening on the return journey I spent over 2 hours queuing at the Dartford tunnel, which I'd like to avoid in future. I like the M25, so would it be worth my while accessing it via the A1 at South Mimms and going West past Heathrow, and round to Kent going anti-clockwise? Anyone care to guess how long it would take?
