Kyle, thanks for the article. Mr. Bagwell led an interesting life! (Also, his being a pioneer in lifestyle television makes me wonder if he was involved with HGTV, which is also HQ'd in Knoxville.)
Both sides of my family are from East Tennessee, and my dad was a UT alumnus. All that makes for a nice coincidence, since I consider Tucson my home town. I am a UA alum and love it there. I would be living there now, but for work considerations.
I never watched HEY DUDE while it broadcast, but thanks to this website and Jeertle's Hey Dude Leech page, I have seen them all. Many, many thanks! Such a fun show and in my favorite location.
