Hernia MD, I mentioned to Dr. Aye that I made an appt. to see him and consequently was able to email him afterwards. If I can put it in my own words, he said it was not uncommon to have the type of discomfort following a 2nd surgery. There can be a lot of pain that is most likely due to scar tissue and time is our friend as these things will usually totally resolve. Maybe he had seen the Upper GI/Barium swallow films. I think I am going to wait before I see anyone for awhile longer and just take a little more pain pills. Does this make sense to you?
