Finally got to see the surgeon for my follow up from June.....
Specifically I had the plug and tension free repair but indicated to him that although the pain subsided somewhat for awhile it immediately returns with any sort of 'heavy' activity.
I was on my brother in laws boat a few times since my last visit and every bounce of a wave felt like somewhat was repeatedly punching me at the surgical site.
I still seem to get the testicular inflammation, swelling/inflammation feeling at the surgical site and the bulging of the testicle is still there although right now, it's not as prevalent as it was in say August (which I also wasn't doing 'much' in terms of my normal activity).
Would like some thoughts.
He wants to wait another 3 months and then schedule and MRI. Told me to continue being active etc. He indicated that, depending on what happens 3 months from now, if surgery is needed to find out what is wrong and they have to tach some muscle to the mesh that chances are there will be the same if not more pain after surgery.
I just want to be fixed!
