Anybody had primary hernia surgery with Dr Goodyear in Pennsylvania? Why is his open method
different from others - pros or cons?

The claim is no adhesion problems that can be associated with lap surgery; and that muscle tissue is not cut during procedure-how is that possible through the open method?
