post surgery testicle question for herniaMD and others

Had open surgery on a right ingunal 2 weeks ago. Noticed last night that my right testcle does not "ride up" when I "suck in" my stomach. Is this normal and well it ever go back to normal?

If it is permenant will this effect sperm count due to testicle temperture not being able to be regulated as designed?
