Question for HerniaMD and others - Lump 2 weeks post surgery

I had right open inguinal surgery two weeks ago tomorrow. It seems to be healing Ok EXCEPT for a large lump that has appeared under the incision. The lump is hard and about 3 long and maybe 1 inch high, I am thin so this is very noticeable. It is kind of sensitive to touch and hurts if I bump into something. What is lump and is it normal? If it is normal at what point should I be concerned if the lump does not disappear. Could this be my body rejecting the mesh repair? Thanks, this is a great site, wish I would of found it before my surgery.
