I am not sure that all hernias can be picked up by a CAT scan or ultrasound. That is what I was told. You may want to check the North Penn Hernia discussion board moderated by Dr. Goodyear. Anyway, if look at all the posts you will find names of top surgeons in the country who will deal with you. I think some of the surgeon will even do phone consults with you.
