I decided to go with my original surgeon for a repeat of the Lap Nissen Fundoplication surgeon about 10 days ago. The surgery itself went well and went back to work at an office job 7 days later. The surgeon supposedly corrected a condition in which the wrap had slipped. He decided to do a full wrap again after studying the manometry results. I have no heart burn just like before but some shoulder and chest pain started to come back. I am a little concerned and know that I am only 10 days out but could this be caused from the wrap slipping again. (Note: I am still on a full liquid diet but do have some soups like clam chowder and sometimes snack on miniature tomatoes and small olives and help wash it down with juices). When I am talking about chest pain it is all upper chest pain, some shoulder pain (mostly left shoulder), and some central upper pain at times). It's not great but it a little annoying and worrisome that this may be another wrap somehow not staying in it's proper place.
