I have had a scrotal ultrasound. The results were "normal". I am going to another urologist for a second opinion. I still have pain and swelling of the right testical and epidydimus and pain in the left testical. I am curious as to why the 1st urologist never contacted the surgeon to ask how the operation went, what type of mesh was used, or if there were any problems with or around the spermatic cord. Should I ask for some type of imaging scan to see exactly what the surgeon did, the relationship of the mesh to the spermadic cord, etc.? I there any type of test that I should specifically ask the urologist to perform? Should I be seeing a different type of Dr. other then a urologist? Thank you so much for your help. It has been over 6 months since my operation.
