I went thru same scenario. I knew something not right after 8 months. I posted on this board so much 0ver my so called recovery period. Everyweek I was going to Urologist, GP, Surgeons and pain specialists. I finally told a very experiened surgeon to get the mesh out of me. Yesterday the mesh came out and it was so balled up and blood vessels, nerves and spermatic cord had all entangled in mesh. It was a mess that no amount of physical therapy or medicine would make better.If I listen to all docs I visit mesh still in me and further damage done for sure. I was not in extreme pain but pain none the less and getting worse every week so no Doc want to touch me until probably too late. I am not saying mesh is your problem but this is my very unpleasant experience.
