I had my 4th hernia surgery 5/7. This time it was a 4cm ventral. Doctor had to cut the rectus muscle to find it. He used a 3x6 inch Marlex mesh to cover the opening. Previouslu I had a 2x4 inch patch in about the same area three year's ago.
Surgery went well, but I'm still in a lot of pain and I go in again today to have more fluid drained as it keeps forming.
Does all this sound "normal" and hopefully the pain will subside as it heals.
