My mistake! In fact, Dr. Goodyear DID use an Ethicon Ultrapro hernia system, not the PHS. He used to use the PHS, as stated at his website, but I went back and checked my surgical report, and he used the Ultrapro system in my operation.

And, again, thanks for the information and perspective. Much appreicated...
