Hi,
Has anyone here had a laparoscopic hernia repair done along with a regular vasectomy?
I had been planning to do a vasectomy over the last few months and i developed this hernia suddenly last week. General surgeon suggested that since i have a slight hernia on both sides (it does bother me quite a bit at the end of long day), laparoscopy is the way to go.
The plan is for the laparoscopy to be done under general anesthesia and the vasectomy procedure to be done after the hernia repair is done.
I would appreciate any input with regard to prior experience, post op pain, amount of time off work (i have a desk job)etc. I am little nervous as this is my first surgery, i am 42.
