I had my surgery april 27th. It was an open repair using the tension free method with prolene mesh. I have a little bruising around the incision area. I am pretty much pain free. I have a little discomfort every now and then. I am up to about 3-4 hours of activity before I feel I need to rest. when I get a little sore I put an ice pack in my groin for a while and it seems to help.
