I had mine about 3 years ago and did just fine except for some gas. Mine was a full wrap. However, within the last couple of weeks I started to have some upper chest pain like pressure and a little swallowing difficulties. It sometimes seems to come and go and I think maybe the esophagus is narrowing - the reason for the pain. If I eat a piece of meat, it would be hard to swallow but then I to wash it down with water. Then the next piece becomes easier. I drink a lot of hot lattee's maybe that could cause some narrowing also. I do not feel or sense any heartburn. But it was odd this chest pain which is more like pressure would bother me one time and then disappear. The last couple of days it's not too bad, but this morning I felt it for a little while. A couple of days ago it was very uncomfortable and so I lied down on my back and that seemed like it did something.
Questions
(1) Could I have "slippage" of the Lap Nissen?
(2) Could I have a return of the hiatal hernia?
I go in for a follow up endoscopy, will they be able to tell?
thank you
