Hernia MD,

(1) so if your surgeon offers you a diagnostic laproscope exam, it would be a good idea to make sure he doesn't try to take the mesh out but leave things as they are and do an open repair?

(2) I may change surgeons, can you recommend someone who is good like Dr. Ramshaw on the west coast? Would Dr. Shirin Towfigh at Cedar Sinai be good?
