Great question. I also had hernia surgery about the same time you did. I was told that the pain will linger for sometime as your wound is still healing. My doctor said my body will let me know if I'm pushing to hard. I've been walking 3 miles about 5 times a week the past 3 weeks. I have decided to stay out of the weight room for another month. I am hoping to be out in the water surfing by summer. Several of my freinds who have had hernia surgery said it takes about a year to real feel 100%.
