Thanks, when I spoke with the dr. well before i had all this info on this board, ( he does both open and lap) he sensed my favoring open and said he could go either way, he would do open. Do you want a surgeon that does both and is experienced. Lets say 50-100 a year lap. A general surgeon? I s it a benefit or negative to have a general surgeon who does other lap surgeries? Or a lap surgeon only who does hundreds a year and has done several thousand lap?
