Hi i dont have any lumps indicating an obvious hernia, but a mild tingling or burning sensation at times, in that area. My GP says it is a weakness in the abdominal wall. I then saw 2 general surgeons with 10+ years experience: one said it was a hernia, another (and a MRI) said no its not.
So question: if a hernia is the most common surgical procedure in the US, how come I can get so different diagnoses?
Thank you.
