My research on Parietex indicates more surgeons are switching to Parietex. UltraPro does have as much as 25 to 35% contraction over time. There is no indication it causes more adhesions. I would suggest the hernia MD get his facts straight as I am aware of Dr. Bruce Ramshaw using Parietex as an option. Parietex is known to be "water loving". You can read this in his brochure.
