Dear Md. If the mesh pulled away from the muscle, will the muscle re-attach to the mesh? The mesh was put in with tacks. The surgeon said it is impossible for the tacks to come out. If it does re-attach will there be a lot of scar tissue and will this hinder the re-attachment to the mesh? I'm asking you this because I recently got an MRI, I am not a dr. but I can see Darkness in the area of the pain compared to the other side. I had bi-lateral lap surgery. If the mesh pulled away will it show darkness because of the ripping muscle or scar tissue. It looks like the entire mesh is dark, can this all be scare tissue. It is very sensitive to touch and aches all the time lifting or not. thank you
