Your info about parietex and UltraPor are incorrect. These numbers come from animal studies (i.e rabbit) and it doesn't correlate with contraction in humans. UltraPro was designed to have less contraction than standard polypropylene mesh. Parietx is NOT new. Polyester has been used for over 30 years. Many surgeons stay away from polyester because of serious problems in the past with adhesions and fistulas. Polyester is the ONLY mesh on the market that has been shown to have increasing number of adhesions with time. Please don't give advice to someone like you did here unless you are an experienced hernia surgeon with years of experience. You are doing this patient a serious disservice.
