I had hernia surgery (mesh) on Jan 9th. Quick recovery, fast heal, and I've been feeling great. Had the staples taken out a week after the surgery, with steri-strips applied.
Recently, the strips were starting to come off, and I started to experience some acute, stinging pain around the area, almost like a sharp pinch. Is that a sign that anything is wrong? I can't tell if it's skin irritation, or if something I'm wearing is really pinching...any thoughts? Thanks.
