Most surgeons use the 1% rule. If the is a remote risk to a standard procedure that is less than 1%, it is not always necessary to discuss it pre op. I know that your problem is not a direct result of your surgery. You are not helping potential patients in the least, you're using scare tactics with NO basis in fact.
