bad advice !

I am sorry that you are having a problem. You need to see a urologist and figure out what the problem is. A hernia repair will NOT cause the problem you described. It is not fair to other patients who need hernia surgery to think that what has happened to you is a direct result of surgery. There are over 800,000 hernia repairs performed safely every year in this country. Many serious problems have been prevented with proper repairs. Please don't use scare tactics on this board to influence patients who are seeking objective and accurate information about hernia surgery.
