I heard they used mesh and scar tissue from my previous hysterectomy. The surgeon said they made like a sandwich from a donor's tissue, mesh, and the scar tissue. The plan was for my tissue to grow into this tissue they used and solidify it.
I actually had a cat scan about 6 weeks out from the surgery and everything looked fine then. However, at that time I wasn't experiencing the type of pain I am now.
Before I knew I had a hernia, I could hear my intestines making sounds similar to stomach growls but a little different. Occasionally now I hear sounds and my abdomen feels heavy if that makes any sense.
Do you think it's possible that my infection has come back?
