A year after having reconstructive hernia repair done (tension-free mesh), there are some odd bumps and pockets of fatty tissue appearing around the scar area, but none of them are painful. I hear sometimes when fatty tissue is cut through then it doesn't heal evenly and that could be what I'm feeling, or adhesions could form around the area. Is this true?
