Hernia MD,
First thank you very much for this website and the advice you give to patients like myself. I underwent right inguinal hernia surgery last tuesday and I've had pain in the scrotum develop over the past few days. The swelling is visible and my right testicle seems to be resting much lower than the left side. I've been icing the area and taking advil to manage the pain. It doesn't seem to be getting any better. Is this normal? Should I be concerned? Do you have any suggestions on what I can do to reduce the swelling? The incision site fine.
