I have had the same surgery as you. The first 4 weeks were almost pain free. Then I ran and became more active, then the right side started to hurt. The doctor said it is normal and the muscle are adapting to your mesh, but the left side is perfect pain free. It would be nice to know what your results are. I've noticed the rt side that hurts is kind of spongey (if that is a word), while the other side is firm. Hopefully the tacs did not move because of my actions
