surgeons hate to admit they have a recurrence. You should not have a "healing ridge" at this point and nothing should "pop". Sutures should not cause this problem. It is time to get an independent second surgical opinion. I am concerned about a recurrent hernia or a "retained" hernia (one that was never really fixed).
