thanks for answering i took a ct scan a few days ago and it didnt say anything connected to the hernia surgery. the results were:
1)right enhancing cystic lesion in the right adnexal region.differential considerations include hemorrhagic cyst versus other tubo-ovarian pathology
2)trace amount of free fluid in the pelvis.
my ? is do ct scans always show a hernia or one thats coming through?
it doesnt make sense to me that its only the cysta and not connected to the surgery since im having the same type of pain that i had fro the hernia and its in the same area and i only have it since my hernia?
does scar tissue, mesh promlems,... and other problems from hernia surgery always show on a scan ? the whole area of repair from incision and down is still tender why would that have to do with a cyst?
is it possible that scar tissue from the hernia repair can affect nearby organs like the ovaries?
if the doc seemed to be focusing on a possible appendisitis and not really that i told him that theswe problems are since herni a he wrote thats what looking for to the diagnostic place . if they were concentrating on that could thay of missed or not read scan good and missed problems from the surgery?
would their be a point in seeing a hernia specialist at thisa point or getting another opinion on th escan reading?
i took a pelvic ultrasound today as my doc wanted
please advice me
thank you very much
