It's funny that you mentioned that the urologist thought it was your epididimus, I also waited for 8 months to see a urologist, the only difference was that my left hernia was sooo big, that it actually came flying out of my left testicle, I could touch, and see the blue. Anyhow, I got the same thing, mild epididimus pain, and he recomended removal if it got any worse, man, I think that the urologist should stick to what they are good at, saying everything your feeling is a prostrate problem. That is another pile that they seem to put everyone on, I'm in the wrong profession!!! I have ended up with 3
internal hernia's which I am patiently waiting to have fixed, I have one that actually travels down between my bladder, and pubic bone, and carries on through the floor boards, and is laying on a artery Maybe the hypogastric artery?, and if that's not enough, it keeps going, and lays on my rectum,I tell you this really smarts. Anyhow, thanks to a really smart internet surgeon(who I e-mailed), he said for me to try and close the whole in the floor board with a truss, it was the only place where the bowel is superfisual(sorry about the spelling), well, this has worked, I was having super heavy blood backflowing when the hernia actually sat on the artery, and as I said the rectum thing was horrible, now, with the truss, I am able to tolerate the pain. I am not fixed, but able to survive. This is very rare, and I do not blame anyone. I had a bad fall, that is what caused this.
