I had Laparoscopic Prostate Surgery 4 years ago. You mentioned in an earlier post that a patient may not be a candidate for Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair if he had"- previous surgery in the lower abdomen (prostate, colon) "
Could you please expand on the reasons that the previous surgery could effect the Lap procedure?
I need to make a decision whether to go with open or lap.
Could you also advise the best way to locate a well regarded surgeon. I am in the NY and North Jersey area.
