Thanks for the reply. Incase it helps anyone else the skin pain does seem to be getting better. Last night I was able to sleep on my side, and used very thin blankets to prevent any sweating. I found it cold, but able to sleep without pain. I'm also slowly re-gaining some of the sensation on the skin in this area.
