I posted a couple of weeks ago about a possible recurrent hernia. I followed HerniaMD's suggestion that I see a surgeon and get a CT scan.
There is no obvious bulge, and the surgeon couldn't say for certain that I had a hernia. However, there was an area that he described as "questionable." Ironically, that spot is not the area where I'm having pain, although it's nearby.
Anyway, I had my CT scan with contrast/barium swallow this morning, and will get the results next week.
