Hernia Surgery Discussion Board: Question

Is any bulging in the groin area normal while coughing? I just had bilateral hernias repaired less than a week ago (lap). I could swear when I have a little cough, I put my hands over each side and the right side has a small bulge. It just concerns me a little, could the repair have not taken on one side?
Any input is appreciated.
