So I havent been able to find much on this. I have a SMALL hernia, so the surgeon said, and he said we will just stitch it closed and it will be no big deal. He said I should be pain free within 2 days. I play and sing in a band. Lifting doesnt bother me a bit. But singing for 4 hours does. unless I do it often enough, then it doesnt bother me much. My surgery was supposed to be today, April 2nd but now has been moved to April 8th at 9:00AM. I have a gig on April 12 at 9:00pm. The doc said that he recommends not lifting more then a gallon of milk for two weeks but kind of hinted at it not beeing too big of a deal for me anyway. The band can do all the lifting for me and that should make almost 5 days of healing. Do you think that I will be o.k. to sing?? Thank you very much!!
