I am a 50 year old female. This is my second surgery for incisional hernia. I am concerned because this time I am experiencing way more discomfort than I did last time and not from the 10 inch incision either. The pain is to the right of the incison and it feels like a "stitch" in my side for much of the right length of my abdomen. This time the surgeon used a larger wire mesh than the first time (since the first mesh came undone.)I have been unable to move around much at all and am worried whether this is a tempoaray pain or not. Any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated!
