I had the same experience with doctors. I went to four in addition to my family doctor
before finding the right person. Two doctors
in the surgical practice I actually used said my hernia was too big for lap and they wanted to do it by the open method.
By luck, I learned the neighbor up the street had two large hernias that were becoming problematic and he had successful
lap surgery resolution. He gave me the name
of his surgeon and I ended up going to the practice I had been to twice before to see his surgeon. The other doctors I had seen were right there and even recognized me and
did not seem to care that I was seeing another doctor in their practice.
The doctor I choose was very easy going and
had an extremely good track record with lap
hernia operations.
You have got to do research or accept the consequences.
