Had an open colon resection done in 05 after a failed attempt at laproscopy. The Dr. said I could return to any activities prior to the surgery. I was 100% clear to do anything I wanted including lifting at the gym etc. I now have a rather large bulge above my belly button. Im 62 yrs old but very active. I don't like the bulge and it feels weird when I cough or sneeze. I could definitely use some advice.
