I had a mesh installed in July 2007 on inguinal right side. Its been 8 months. Recently, about 2 inches above the incision area, I have started to feel pain like stabbing even radiating down my right leg, especially when standing. Called my surgeon who could not see me right away. Went to my primary physician who felt around and said the hernia had not returned but could not explain the pain. It comes and goes but is getting progressively worse. What might this be?
